We’ve tweaked the latest Scandinavian fitness trend..

instead of Plogging (picking up litter while jogging) Try Plalking instead.  Everyone benefits, seriously…everyone. You get some exercise, your neighborhood gets a good tidying, all those that see cleaner spaces and places feel better about where they are, it’s less garbage and junk that ends up where it ought not be, the rivers, parks, plastic in the trees, etc.  You just might inspire others to do the same..come on, this is one awesome trend! Spring is a phenomenal time to begin this new hobby, winter snows have covered a myriad of litter out there and before the grass grows, get out there and feel good about what you’re doing while you are doing it.  Be sure to Recycle what you collect and reuse a grocery bag for collection.

It’s Almost Rhubarb Season, Be Ready with This Recipe
Okay folks, this couldn’t be easier or more rewarding. What I love about it is you can scale it to the exact amount that you have or need.

Wash and cut up strawberries, chop rhubarb into 1/2″ pieces.

Sprinkle with a teaspoon of cornstarch (only if you already have it in the house) and sprinkle with a touch of sugar (truly not much, a tsp to Tbsp for up to 8 ramekin servings.)

Put fruit in ramekins on baking sheet. Pack’em high ’cause fruit will cook down and shrink.

In a separate bowl, mix some brown sugar, rolled oats, touch of flour and a few tablespoons of butter to make a crumble topping. Put a handful of topping gingerly on each

ramekin and then bake at 375 for about 35 minutes, until topping turns golden and fruit is bubbly and oozy. DEEEELISH, I Promise. Best served slightly warm, and vanilla ice cream never hurt anyone, just sayin’.
